The Thai Teacher Association Act B.E. 2546 mandated the teaching profession a restricted vocation. UEC in cooperation with Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University (KRU), a government university, accredited by the Teacher Council of Thailand, proudly offers an international cohort program for the Graduate Diploma in the Teaching Profession (Grad. Dip. in T.P.) for foreign teachers who do not have a bachelor degree in education, but are seeking a teaching license to teach legally in Thailand.

Remark According to Clause 5 Section 2 of the B.E. 2547 Teacher Council regulation, a foreign teacher who has a bachelor degree in education will need to take only the course “Thai Language and Culture and Professional Ethics for Teachers” to be eligible for a teacher license.
Admission Requirements
Applicants:
- At least a bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
- A TOEFL test score is required if English is not your native language. A score of 90 is required for the Internet Based Test, while a score of 550 is required for the paper exam.

Tuition fee 60,000.00 Baht

Payment of fees
- The application fee has to be paid upon applying to the program and has to be submitted with the application form.
- The program is divided into two (2) semesters; tuition fees can be paid 4,500 Baht per month at least one week before class start of that month. Details of Payment Plan
- English Proficiency course fee must be paid at least one week before class starts.
Class Schedule
Each 3 credit course meets and finishes in one month: 2 weekends (8:30AM-5:30PM)
